Manufacturing
Ashish Ferro-Met Pvt. Ltd.'s manufacturing process is a comprehensive journey from raw material procurement to the production of a diverse range of customized stainless steel products, emphasizing quality, precision, and adaptability. It entails several meticulous stages, ensuring quality and precision in the production of stainless steel products.
The primary raw material for the manufacturing process is Stainless Steel Scrap (S.S. Scrap), which is easily available from local and indigenous market.
- Gradewise categories of scrap are received and documented during the inward process.
Quality checks are conducted, and if required, refining processes are initiated to ensure the material meets stringent standards.
Bundling and handling procedures are executed to streamline subsequent stages of the manufacturing process.
The stainless steel scrap undergoes melting in crucibles and a dedicated melting machine.
Melting temperature exceeds 1200 degrees Celsius, facilitated by two crucibles and a melting machine.
A ladder is employed to manage the melting process efficiently.
Bottom pouring process is employed for billet manufacturing.
A caster with an auto shearing machine is utilized for precise cutting of billets.
Billets can take the form of squares or flats, with length, thickness, and width automatically determined (typically 6 meters in length).
Output temperature ranges from 950 to 1100 degrees Celsius.
A temperature booster machine is employed to elevate the temperature to the required level (1100 to 1150 degrees Celsius) for the subsequent hot rolling process.
The company boasts a hot rolling capacity of 5000 metric tons.
An additional 5000 metric tons can be achieved if a pre- heat furnace is integrated.
The pre-heat furnace is versatile and can be utilized for job work and manufacturing billets for ingots.
After Hot Rolling, the products are cooled down gradually up to the temperature which ranges from 800 to 900 degrees Celsius.
Diverse products are manufactured, including Hex, Square, Round, Patti, Flat, Sheet, and Coil.
Different products undergo specific processes for customization :
Black products are directly sold.
Hex, Patti, and Square products undergo pickling and polishing.
Round products are subjected to bright filling. o Flat and Coil products are either directly sold or can undergo job work for annealing.
Sheet products are either directly sold or undergo annealing and pickling via job work.
The final step involves meticulous packing and forwarding procedures to ensure the products reach their destination safely and in optimum condition.
The Continuous Casting System advanced system that facilitates the continuous and efficient casting of molten metal into semi-finished steel products, such as billets or slabs. Operating seamlessly, the Continuous Casting System ensures a consistent and high-quality output by eliminating the need for intermittent casting cycles.
This leads to enhanced productivity, reduced energy consumption, and improved product quality. The system's precision in shaping and cooling the molten metal enables the production of homogeneous and defect-free semi- finished products, laying the foundation for downstream processes in the manufacturing of diverse stainless steel products.
substantial stainless steel production output.
The Bright Bar Unit at Ashish Ferro-Met Pvt. Ltd. is dedicated to the precision manufacturing of bright bars, characterized by a smooth, polished surface finish.
The unit employs advanced machining and polishing processes to enhance the surface aesthetics of the bars, making them suitable for critical applications where a flawless finish and precise dimensions are paramount.
The Power Control System is an indispensable component that facilitates the efficient management and distribution of electrical power within the manufacturing facility.
Its functions encompass load management, safeguarding against electrical hazards, promoting energy efficiency, and integrating with automation processes. By maintaining a reliable and secure power supply, the Power Control System contributes significantly to the overall operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability of Ashish Ferro-Met Pvt. Ltd.'s manufacturing operations.
12 Metric Tons Per Heat
It transforms stainless steel scrap into molten metal through intense heat exceeding 1200 degrees Celsius.
The company envisions running the furnace for 12 heats per day, 26 days a month, and across all 12 months in a year. This production schedule underscores the substantial and consistent utilization of the melting furnace to meet the demands of stainless steel manufacturing and maintain a steady production output.
20 Metric Tons Per Hour
It transforms molten metal from the melting furnace into precise shapes, including sheets, coils, and bars, through the rolling process.
The company is planning to operate 20 hours a day, 26 days a month, and year-round, the Rolling Mill Plant demonstrates efficiency and scale, contributing to a continuous.
